Famed celebrity stylist June Ambrose will become a household name come next February. Ambrose who has styled the likes of Diddy, Jay Z, Kanye & several others, has been in the game for over 20 years. She has changed the face of fashion with her keen attention to detail, individuality, and her love for all things fly.

Her newest venture “Styled By June” is set to debut in late February of 2012 on VH1. The show will follow Ambrose through her daily life as a mom, celebrity stylist, and business woman.

At the turn of the century urban fashion was a market of baggy clothes and baggier attitudes. Late 80’s and early 90’s movies and music perpetuated these styles and eventually they were adopted as mainstream streetwear.

For about 15 years the media was draped in bandanas, du rags, sagging jeans, jersey dresses, excessive bling bling and tilted fitted caps.  Celebrities like J.Lo and Puff Daddy, now known better as Jennifer Lopez and Diddy, even underwent name changes to match their newly adopted styles.

Brands like Sean John, Rocawear, Pelle Pelle, FUBU, Baby Phat, and Karl Kani were the most popular manufactures of these styles.

At the tail end of the last decade, the media again introduced us to a new trend. All of a sudden baggy pants became fitted jeans, fur snorkel jackets zipped up into 

Vogue names their top celebrity dressed siblings for 2011. Making the list at number 7 was Beyonce and Solange Knowles following the fashion dynasties of Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen topping the list at number 1. Others to make the list were Tia & Tamara, Venus & Serena,  KKK Kardashian, Angela & Vanessa Simmons, and more.

June is wearing a gray and black menswear inspired blazer with a white silk blouse, sequin scallop hem shorts, nerdy specs, a black birkin and a pair of traffic stopping heels by Dsquared.

These “skate moss” heels by Dsquared will be released in the next coming weeks so look out.

June is changing the fashion game in a way that her style makes other women take chances and explore different styles. She has already influenced so many with her turbans and statement pieces.

One of the biggest trends for summer was color; well with fall here and summer out the window, celebs have been opting for a different way to show off their radiant hues.  Stars from Gossip Girls Blake Lively to Colombiana’s Zoe Saldana have already stepped out in this trend. Blake lived it up in Gucci, Zoe worked her coral Valentino Frock and Elizabeth Banks rocked it in J. Mendel. Similar styles can be found on several runways this season.
