The duo launched several successful businesses that year, one of them being their fashion line TEXTILE Elizabeth and James. Their TEXTILE line is more laid back than their Elizabeth and James line, it consists more of casual wear such as distressed jeans and comfy tee’s.

Former reality-tv starlet Whitney Port is set to take on Mercedes-Benz Fashion week come February 15th. The star will be showing her Fall 2012 ‘Whitney Eve’ line which debuted back in 2008 while she starred on her hit reality series ‘The City.’

We think it’s about time Whitney be recognized for her amazing talent as a designer. She managed to turn something like reality show into something positive and ended up gaining a career out of it. She not only gained a career as a designer, but also as an author with a popular personal-style advice book.

Singer, DJ, fashion favorite and new Aunt Solange Knowles will be adding yet another title to her resume: Model. Yes, the twenty-five year old recently signed with top modeling agency Next Models. The starlet will be in good company since Next Models houses the most popular individuals such as Petra Nemcova, Abbey Lee, Karlie Kloss, Mark Ronson, it-girl Alice Dellal and several others.

This won’t be Ms. Knowles’ first modeling gig, she recently served as the face of Carol’s Daughter beauty products and Rimmel London.

It seems like the Versace for H&M collaboration hype won’t be letting up anytime soon considering the designer recently released the look book for their 2012 cruise collection. The look book features model-of-the-moment Abbey Lee Kershaw and River Viiperi in bright hues and iconic Versace prints.

For Roberto Cavalli’s spring 2012 collection, the notable designer cast supermodels Naomi Campbell, Karen Elson, and Kristen McMenamy to star in his newest ad campaign. The ad features all models including runway newbie Daphne Groeneveld in the designer’s chicest garments ranging from gold sequin mini’s to sheer gowns and eclectic prints.

For Chanel’s recent spring campaign, creative director Karl Lagerfeld crafted the idea of portraying top models Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw as gymnasts, twirling freely in the chicest of Chanel frocks. Throughout the campaign (shot by Lagerfeld) the models donned signature Chanel duds such as the iconic quilted flap bag and tweed suit.
